F O R   I M M E D I A T E  R E L E A S E:

Screen Shot 2013-03-11 at 6.35.12 PMCAPSE (The Coalition for Action on Postsecondary Education) invites you to attend its inaugural COALITION ASSEMBLY Friday 15 March at the University of Alberta’s TORY Lecture Theatre BL-2 at 2pm.

Students, staff, and faculty at the University of Alberta and all postsecondary institutions in the greater Edmonton area are called to attend, along with community members. The cuts to postsecondary education in the Government of Alberta’s 2013 budget will affect all Albertans.

Join us to discuss what the once in a generation response to the once in a generation budget should be. We will then march to the legislature to rally in defence of post-secondary constituencies across the province of Alberta.

The primary aim of the meeting is to establish a coalition that will address the unsustainable austerity being implemented in this province, especially in relation to postsecondary education.

The more voices included in the coalition, the more effective our response will be.

Rally with us in support of Alberta’s future.

In solidarity,

Concerned faculty, staff, and students
